Bio
Miryam splits her time between Kirikiriroa/Hamilton and Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland. She originally trained as an actor at Toi Whakaari; NZ Drama School, graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor of Performing Arts.
Miryam has produced and directed commercial content for the likes of WellingtonNZ, Sir John Kirwan Foundation, MediaWorks, Fonterra, NZMP, Look Good Feel Better NZ, Auckland Theatre Company and more.
Miryam has shown film work at international film festivals such as Show Me Shorts, Galway Film Fleadh, Melbourne Women in Film Festival, Vail Film Festival, Down Under Berlin Film Festival and more. Other highlights of her filmmaking career to-date include second unit directing on Amazon’s Don’t Make Me Go and creating the highly-acclaimed NZ On Air funded documentary Disorder.
Miryam is a proud member of WIFT and Equity, and am currently represented by Frank Management.
