Denson Baker NZCS ACS is an award winning cinematographer of international feature films, music videos, documentaries & commercials. His recent credits include OPHELIA with Daisy Ridley & Naomi Watts, BBC Series THE LUMINARIES with Eva Green and Eve Hewson, Measure of a Man with Donald Sutherland, Judy Greer & Luke Wilson, as well as the UK TV series VICTORIA, and he was the DP of the reshoots the Academy Award winning GET OUT which included the tone setting opening scene.


He has captured performances of Academy Award Nominated, Golden Globe & Emmy Award winning actors, Grammy & Aria Award winning musicians, international supermodels and distinguished individuals including Donald Sutherland, Joel Edgerton, Rose Byrne, Naomi Watts, Emily Watson, Hugo Weaving, Paz Vega, Luke Wilson, Toni Collette, Edward James Olmos, Judy Greer, Elle Fanning, Carmen Maura, Radha Mitchell, Miranda Otto, David Gulpilil, David Wenham, Mia Wasikowska, Sam Worthington, Emilia Clarke, Pitbull, The Black Eyed Peas,

In 2005 he was accredited by the Australian Cinematographers Society allowing him the honor of having the letters ACS after his name. In 2015  he was accredited by the New Zealand Cinematographers Society adding the honour of  the letters NZCS and is also a union member of the International Cinematographers Guild.

Denson has worked in many parts of the world including New Zealand, The Czech Republic, India, Italy, Germany, South Korea, The Pacific Islands, Argentina, Africa, Australia the United States and the United Kingdom.
