Bio
Ryan Evans is a director and scriptwriter based in Auckland, New Zealand. He has been studying the art of filmmaking and scriptwriting at the coveted Yoobee college, South Sea Film School during 2023.
He gained experience in directing, scriptwriting, assistant directing, studio floor management and producing throughout his study year. Ryan has had a passion for photography and digital art from a young age and has taken this passion into the filming sector to broaden his storytelling ability through the lens. He has always been particular with how his projects are to be produced from a video graphical and script topical sense.
Prior to pursuing a career in film, Ryan was an accomplished sportsman in swimming and field hockey. His background in competitive sports and working in the construction industry has helped develop his ability to collaborate with others and strong team building skills. He is determined to further develop his skills as a film maker and work with creatives worldwide.
