Bio

Rita Al Cunha was born and raised in north Portugal where she studied Communication Sciences and Film as an undergrad. She’s a Fulbright and PAPS scholar and did her master's degree in the United States in Directing at the College of Motion Picture Arts, where she also taught screenwriting. In bigger projects, she works as an assistant director. For the past year, she worked on House of the Dragon (HBO), Vampire Academy (Peacock), A Town Called Malice (Sky originals), and Fast & Furious X (Universal Pictures).

She has lived in 7 countries and is currently based in New Zealand.
