Synopsis

A New Zealand family farm is struggling for survival while mega-landowner Williams wants to buy it. Still, astray sister Casey is welcomed home without much questions, even over 8 year-old boy Tommy, whom former lover John, a prosecutor's office office, suspects may be their son, but isn't even hers. A defrocked priest, who broke the confessional secret, is also employed.
