Bio

After graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in commercial photography I moved to Chicago and in 1994 found myself operating my first motion control rig.

In the beginning I was shooting beer bottles and beer cans for Silent Partner Films. While it wasn't exciting work, it paved the way for a move to Hollywood. After landing my first gig on the movie, Turbulence, I quickly found myself on my second gig "flying ships" for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine that lasted 3 years, 3 Emmy nominations for best visual effects. It was an amazing way to learn all the capabilities that motion control has to offer.

Since that time I have had the opportunity to work on over 50 feature films, numerous television shows, and music videos as well as hundreds of commercials.

In 2011 I first set foot in New Zealand to work on The Hobbit have now had the opportunity to visit New Zealand 7 times and hope to be back soon.
