I have worked in a series of different environments and industries. I moved to New Zealand from Vancouver, Canada.
In my previous roles, I was privileged to work with an eclectic mix of people in Canada’s film industry. I quickly found myself in a leadership position, managing groups of Production Assistants on large budget films. Then moving into the props department managing props on set, on the work truck, and earning my position as an assistant props master. During these rolls I took on the name @meganprops on TikTok where I gained over 330,000 followers who were interested in my day to day work life. Through this, Creative BC, the independent society created and supported by the province of BC reached out to have me join them on the creation of their new platform for film workers, Creative Pathways. I recruit hirers and help run online seminars on how to get into the film industry.
I have been an adventurer and creator my whole life with a wide variety of artistic skills which I excel in while creating and working with people and props. My unique sense of style and warm personable skills allow me to maintain positive relationships in a variety of industries. With a lot of my work experience being quite independent positions, I am very self-motivated, as well as an active team member.
