Bio

With nearly two decades of experience in the film industry, Maza's background covers diverse roles, beginning as a makeup, hair, and wardrobe artist, and currently serving as an Assistant Director. She has excelled in scheduling and working as a 1st AD in several NZFC shorts as well as a TVNZ mini-series and was 1st and 2nd AD on the most recent season of Ahikaroa.

Maza's passion for storytelling led her to complete a Master of Creative Writing at AUT and continue to pursue scriptwriting. Examples of her films can be found on her website.

She has a comprehensive understanding of the whole filmmaking process, and can easily adapt to new challenges.

Maza is currently looking for roles as a 2nd or 3rd AD for large-scale projects such as international feature films and TV series or as a 1st AD for smaller ventures such as short films or web series.
