Miles is an Award winning director who continues to have great success making commercials throughout NZ, Australia and Asia. Miles has a rich background in all areas of filmmaking. His experience ranges from dolly grip on ‘Lord of the rings’, to Acting, Art Direction, Post Production Design, to Directing short films and big budget commercials. His diverse experience and advanced technical knowledge creates an uncluttered environment during the film making process. This allows Miles to focus his energy on strong narrative and great performance.

Miles has won numerous awards for his Debut short film ‘The Knock’ and he also won a Bronze Lion at the Cannes Advertising awards. Some of the brands miles has worked with include - Mercedes, Lexus, Subaru, Coke, Unilever, Nestle, LG, Lion Nathan and many more.

Although Miles has a strong technical background he is known more for his engaging performances in both subtle comedy and genuine lifestyle commercials. He creates a relaxed environment on set that allows good communication to flow from his actors right through to agency and client.
