About the opportunity:
Hsquared Media have an exciting opportunity for a driven Associate Producer looking for a production role that includes both broadcast and digital content creation responsibilities. The role is a juicy one and is a pivotal part of a small team of dedicated and passionate production professionals.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, positive and self-motivated person who is keen to share and expand on their knowledge and experience in this multi-faceted production role.
Location:
Based in North Caulfield, Melbourne.
Your responsibilities will include:
Broadcast Production
- Supporting the Series Producer on set for filming across various series including - checking recipe accuracy, sponsor messaging and compiling shoot notes.
- General production support and administration for multiple productions, including tasks such as shoot research, production call sheets, formatting and collating series production documents and more.
- Overseeing Guest communication and consent forms.
- Compiling Network and International assets folders for various series with a high level of accuracy.
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Write and schedule branded copy for Instagram and Facebook posts.
- Support the Digital Producer with planning, writing, and executing email newsletter campaigns.
- Assist with YouTube video upload processes, including writing SEO-optimised descriptions, adding hashtags, keywords, and creating playlists.
- Create and test different thumbnail versions for YouTube.
- Assist with YouTube content planning (e.g. combined videos, themed series).
- Assist with captioning and optimising YouTube videos.
- Write and proof episode synopsis.
- Write copy for sponsored posts.
- Help test and execute YouTube growth experiments, including dropout cutdown & keyword tests.
- Schedule and manage Instagram Reels and Stories for off-season shows.
- Create and post Instagram Stories utilising engagement tactics.
About You
- You have 3 years’ experience in a social content creation role.
- Previous Broadcast experience is an advantage.
- Your writing skills are your strength, or actual super-power!
- You possess great communication skills.
- You have strong attention to detail.
- You have a genuine interest in television & social content production.
- You are a capable multitasker.
- You are competent with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, YouTube and Social platforms.
- You have excellent organisational skills.
- You love both strategic and creative tasks when it comes to social.
This role is for a 12-month contract, 38 hours per week.
This role requires on-site attendance.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
