Create Medical Realism That Matters

Are you hands-on, detail-driven, and creatively inclined? Do you love painting, sfx or making things with your hands?

At MedicFX, we create hyper-realistic simulation tools — trauma kits, surgical manikins, wounds, and more — used to train medical professionals around the world. We're looking for three Lab Technicians to join our fast-paced production team on a 6-week contract, starting in August, with potential to move into a permanent full-time role for the right candidates.

This is where special effects meets clinical education and where your work helps save lives.

What You'll Do

  • Cast and cut silicone wounds

  • Paint and detail products to a high standard (training provided!)

  • Support daily production targets alongside a collaborative team

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient lab environment

  • Work on your feet - it's physical, fast-paced, hands-on work

Who You Are

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Are energetic, reliable, and love working with your hands

  • Have a sharp eye for detail and finishing touches

  • Can follow instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures

  • Are physically fit and comfortable standing/moving for long periods

  • Are comfortable with repetition but excited by realism and innovation

  • Can measure, mix, and follow technical recipes with basic maths

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have, Not Required)

  • Experience with silicone, FX makeup, prosthetics, or paintwork

  • Background in art, fabrication, or health simulation

  • Familiarity with human anatomy or medical training tools

  • Willingness to help train or support new team members

What We Offer

  • 6-week paid contract with training provided

  • A pathway to full-time permanent employment

  • A passionate, creative team environment

  • Flexible, early-start production hours (e.g. 7am–3:30pm)

  • On-the-job development in silicone casting, airbrushing, anatomy realism

  • Opportunities to grow into R&D, QA, or leadership roles

  • The chance to do meaningful work with real-world medical impact
