3D Data Capture Technician - Industrial Pixel Visual Effects

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a 3D Data Capture Technician at Industrial Pixel Visual Effects in Brisbane, and/or Gold Coast, QLD.

As a 3D Data Capture Technician, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to data collection and 3D scanning. This includes working with Photogrammetry, Lidar, Character, and Prop Scanning technologies to capture accurate and high-quality data. You will collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless integration of data into visual effects projects.

Qualifications

• Analytical Skills, Computer Literacy, and Communication skills

• Data Collection and Typing skills

• Knowledge of and/or experience with 3D scanning and data capture technologies

• Knowledge of and/or experience with 3D modeling

• Knowledge of and/or experience with photography

• Knowledge of and/or experience in film production processes and visual effects

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g., 3D Modeling, 3D Animation, Film School, Visual Effects) is a plus

• Must be able to work in Australia

• Must have a valid drivers license and passport
