Accounts / Bookkeeper - Cutting Edge Technical Services

Cutting Edge Technical Services (CETS) is a world-class provider of technical solutions to the film and television industry, from simple on-set logging stations to complete post-production workflows. We’re looking for a sharp and detail-driven Accounts / Bookkeeper to join our team.

After initial training, this role can be primarily based offsite/remote, making it perfect for someone looking for flexibility while still being part of a creative, high-performance environment. This role will require working 4 hours per day and 5 days per week but there is some flexibility to schedule your hours to work in between school hours or as otherwise agreed.

You’ll work closely with our external accountants and leadership team to ensure smooth financial operations and accurate reporting across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full XERO management: accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations and super management.
• Daily/weekly cashflow tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Matching supplier invoices to client jobs and services
• Liaising with production teams, directors, and vendors to maintain accurate records
• Invoicing clients and managing receivables
• Managing compliance documentation, insurance, and certifications
• Providing general admin support
• Coordinating gear and consumables for projects (supporting on-site staff where needed)
• Keeping internal records and systems organised

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven Accounts and Payroll experience - min. 2-5 years. Experience with Xero and Google Office Suite is a bonus!
• Ability to learn quickly, strong attention to detail and ability to self-manage.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
• Ability to collaborate effectively via phone, email, and cloud-based systems
