Bio

My name is Jake Pitcher and most of my development has been in front of the camera having studied a Bachelor of Performing Arts, majoring in Acting. Through this journey I found a love for writing. Over the three years at drama school, I developed and wrote a low budget independent web series called "Touch Wood”. In 2019, Touch Wood took out three out of four awards at the New Zealand Webfest and then went on to represent New Zealand for the Joel Bassaget prize in Montreal.
