Strat NZ is looking for a Content Producer with solid production experience to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role that will see you working as a hands on Producer as well as being directly Client facing.

 

The right candidate will have at least 5 years of production experience in commercial or broadcast production roles with confidence in managing full time and freelance personnel. You will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end production processes, a passion for creative production and a desire to be a key member of a growing agency.

 

The majority of your time will be spent overseeing a commercial project that focuses on promoting beauty & health products. Specific experience or a proven interest in these areas would be advantageous.

 

The role requires working between our studio facility in Glen Innes and a Grey Lynn office although we are relocating into a new space in Mt Eden from October 2025. Working hours mainly follow business hours, however production/shoot requirements will often require flexibility.

 

This is a position for someone seeking to broaden their knowledge and responsibilities. Support will be provided for the right candidate in areas requiring training or upskilling.

 

Salary = $85-90K depending on experience

 

The duties of the role include:

  • overseeing production and on-time delivery of work for all clients
  • management of production processes including documentation and communication
  • management of production budgets and schedules
  • attending production meetings, shoots and audio recordings as required
  • overseeing casting processes including agent liaison, PCBs and talent contracts
  • building and maintaining client relationships
  • maintaining quality standards and client brand messaging across all creative work
  • ensuring correct licensing of artistic material across all formats and locations
  • facilitating relevant financial functions such as quotes, estimates, purchase orders, invoice processing, expenses, cost reconciliations & new starter forms
  • negotiating with external production suppliers to instruct and manage production requirements including artist agents, production houses etc.
  • management and upkeep of in house studios, equipment and facilities
  • scoping new briefs/concepts to determine the feasibility of projects
  • supporting the Executive Producer in all aspects of production, including pre-production, recce, scheduling, call sheets, permits, travel, accommodation, finance and logistics
  • working alongside the Executive Producer in other capacities as required by the business
