Bio
Passionate screen industry professional with expertise spanning pre-production, production, and post. While I've worked as a director and co-founded the award-winning AR/VR company realityvirtual.co (creator of the Lumiere Award-winning 'Journey to Eternity'), I'm equally enthusiastic about taking on roles like stand-in work, which I recently did for Amazon's Lord of the Rings series.
My background combines hands-on experience with formal education, including diplomas in filmmaking and audio engineering, plus an (about to be marked) masters in Screen Production from Auckland University. I started my journey managing cinema and entertainment retail before expanding into broadcasting (bFM, kfm, Base) and large-scale event management, including festivals with 100+ staff.
I'm particularly drawn to Fantasy, Sci-fi, Historical, and Comedy projects, as well as XR/Transmedia innovations. My diverse skill set is complemented by reliability and a genuine team-player mindset. Currently seeking opportunities across all production phases while completing my masters research in Directing, Editing, Script Development, and Scholarly work.
Off-set, I write screenplays and compose soundtracks, collect sci-fi/fantasy literature, and explore interests ranging from motorcycles to blockchain technology and esoteric studies.
