Bio

Bennett has been working in the Props and Art departments on Television and Film projects for the last 3 years.
Honing his skills as a Buyer and Coordinator. He has an eye for detail, and great communication skills.
As well as helping out on set, in the workshop or in various roles in other departments.

Bennett spent 2021 at South Seas Film School learning the practical skills necessary for Directing, Assistant Directing and Screenwriting, producing and directing a number of short film projects. Previously he studied at UoA receiving a Bachelor of Arts in FTVMS, where he developed his theoretical knowledge and passion for film.

In other fields he has worked as a manager in various cinemas for the last 7 years where he developed his leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
He is great at handling pressure and making decisions in the heat of the moment, but also good at organizing and time-management to mitigate the need for the former. Bennett is a passionate and hard worker and can deal with anything that comes his way.

Bennett Conran is known for his work on A Mistake, Chief of War, Spartacus and East of Eden.
