Bio

Robyn is a creative and hardworking New Zealand-based composer with a focus on film scoring and audio post-production, with a Master of Fine Arts (Creative Practice) in Music/Sound specialising in film composing and audio post-production from Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music. Robyn has a friendly, diligent, and professional attitude and works well with others.

Recently Robyn was awarded the third runner-up in the global ScoreLive London film scoring contest in the award category of 12 contemporary female composers, winning a scholarship towards the GEMS Film Scoring Summer Program in Spain. Robyn was also a finalist in the 2020 New Zealand School of Music Composers Contest and a finalist in the 2019 New Zealand School of Music Film Scoring Contest.

Robyn has scored a live cinema show, nine short films in New Zealand, and one short film in the UK, mixed seven of these, and worked on ADR and Foley for two. From this Robyn also has experience in on-set production recording sound design, ADR, Foley, recording, editing, and mixing and mastering audio in stereo and 5.1. Many projects Robyn has worked on have been long-distance projects in different cities and countries.
