Bio

Chris is a 31 year old British-New Zealand Director, Creative Producer and Editor, formerly based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. After 10 years of experience in production and advertising in Southeast Asia, Chris has returned to his home country of New Zealand hoping to bring his expertise of the SEA region for international companies planning productions overseas, as well as dive deep into the ever growing world of independent film in New Zealand.

As the resident director for M&C Saatchi Malaysia, Chris learnt the ins and outs of the advertising world from both a creative and production perspective. Conceptualising, directing and editing TVC and digital content for some of the country's leading brands including Celcom, Axiata, CIMB and Tourism Malaysia as well as international brands like Porsche, Johnnie Walker and Calpis. Away from M&C Saatchi, Chris has worked with international news agencies such as BBC Worldwide, PBS as well as Singapore’s Channel News Asia, creating a feature length documentary for the latter's TV network.

Aside from Malaysia, Chris has produced commercial and documentary content around Southeast Asia in countries such as Indonesia, Singapore and Laos as well as farther-afield in the United Kingdom, Italy and the U.S.
